Masses

We hold two (2) Masses a year on Cemetery grounds for the deceased, their families and friends. One Mass is held on All Souls Day, November 2nd, and another Mass is held on Memorial Day at 10:00 a.m.



On the second Sunday in December, Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery hosts the Annual Worldwide Candle Lighting Ceremony for the Compassionate Friends, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The Compassionate Friends is a group, with local chapters around the world, consisting of parents and families who have experienced the loss of a child.

All who are interested are invited to attend and participate in this event at our outdoor chapel. The ceremony includes live music, candle lighting, prayer, and fellowship with many who have experienced this very difficult loss.

The mission of The Compassionate Friends is to assist families toward the positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive.
